Dr. Sabu M C joined St. Albert\u2019s College as Assistant Professor of Mathematics in 2006. Prior to this, he served Christ College, Rajkot as a Senior Lecturer in Mathematics from 1999. Since 2016, he is the Dean, Resource Mobilization & Funding of St. Albert\u2019s College. He heads the Department of Mathematics from 2017. He has coordinated the ISO Certification, Autonomous Inspection and NAAC Accreditation of the College. He is a Mentor for \u201cInspire Internship Science Camp\u201d regularly from 2012 onwards which is sponsored by DST, Govt. of India. As a tutor he guides students in Mathematics Training and Talent Search Program (MTTS) of National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM). Sabu M C holds an extensive research experience in Applied Mathematics, especially in the field of Differential Equations and Relativity. He was selected under Visiting Associateship Programme of Inter University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune from 2001 \u2013 2004. He owns a lifetime membership in Indian Association of General Relativity and Gravitation (IAGRG). He is the author of a good number of publications and is the Chief Editor of the Journal TAJOPAAM, a journal of Applied Mathematics. At present he is guiding 4 research students for their doctoral thesis, 2 PG students and 4 UG students for their project work. He was selected to the inspection team of \u201cSwachh Bharat Abhiyan\u201d constituted by University Grants Commission (UGC) in 2019. He was the recipient of \u201cBHARAT SHIKSHA RATAN AWARD\u201d conferred by Global Society for Health and Education Growth, New Delhi in 2010. He is a consultant to Navadarsan, an NGO working towards the betterment of Youth in and around Ernakulam City. Dr.Sabu M C coordinates the admission processes of the College and Certificate Courses of the Department of Mathematics.
